Who we are

The Northwest Recruiters Association, NWRA, was founded in the spring of 1997 as a non-profit organization linking the local recruiting community as a thriving regional membership association.  With over 100 charter members, NWRA has maintained a diverse roster ranging from corporate recruiters and HR generalists to executive search recruiters and researchers, employment agency and independent/contract recruiters.

Sarah Banks was an original founder and former President and Board Member. Currently, the NWRA has an impressive list of current and former Board of Trustees and continued support by devoted members to help the organization continue to lead in professional development, industry education and networking opportunities for its membership.

Mission Statement

The Northwest Recruiters Association is a non-profit organization established to serve those in the recruiting profession as a forum for education, networking and information dissemination in a non-competitive environment. We strive to offer ways to develop members' recruiting skills and knowledge in order for them to promote professionalism among the recruiting industry, and the workplace community as a whole. Membership includes technical and non-technical recruiting professionals dedicated to the process of identifying, attracting and hiring individuals to organizations in the Puget Sound area.
